AIRPORT HISTORY
Massey Ranch Airpark has been a public licensed airport since 1957 and is owned and operated by Massey Ranch Airpark, Inc. The airpark features a 4360' paved and lighted runway with a residential section on the east side and commercial/industrial section on the west side. All properties have direct taxiway access.
AIRPORT PROPERTIES
Residential lots vary in size from quarter acre lots on a grass taxiway to one acre lots on a paved taxiway. You can build your own home and hangar or contact us for builders and prices. We also have luxury townhomes with private hangars at the Villas at Massey Ranch. We have something for everyone.
The commercial/industrial area has been zoned for aviation and non-aviation related businesses and support services. Additional commercial taxiway lots are being developed and will be available in the future. T-Hangars and condominium executive hangars are available as well.

WHY SOUTHEAST VOLUSIA?
Some people might wonder why anyone would live in southeast Volusia County, but thats just because they haven't been there. The seaside city of New Smyrna Beach and the growing riverfront city of Edgewater are the principal municipalities in southeast Volusia. Located in one of the most desirable areas of Florida, well north of the congested urban sprawl of south Florida,southeast Volusia boasts beautiful white sand beaches and a maze of creeks and backwaters along the famous Indian River and Mosquito Lagoon. The inshore waters in southeast Volusia, home of the Canaveral National Seashore Park, produce more sea trout and redfish than anywhere in Florida. Ponce de Leon Inlet with its picturesque 110 year old brick lighthouse provides ready access to the Atlantic Ocean for those who want to get offshore to sail or fish. With a 50 mile wide continental shelf, the waters off southeast Volusia are teeming with numerous varieties of bottom fish and blue water fish. More than 30 golf courses are located within a thirty minute drive from Massey RanchAirpark.
If a quality lifestyle is a high priority, southeast Volusia offers much more than natural beauty and outdoor recreation. New Smyrna Beach is one of the top cities in Florida for art. Home of the Atlantic Center for the Arts, New Smyrna has several art shows during the year, including the annual juried Images A Festival of the Arts. There is not a shortage of high quality educational facilities within southeast Volusia. Both private and public schools from K-12 are locally available. The south campus of Daytona Beach Community College is within a mile of Massey Ranch Airpark with the main campus within twenty minutes. Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is located by Daytona Beach International Airport which is also a short twenty minute drive. The highly renowned Stetson University in Deland is about a half hour drive, and the University of Central Florida has a campus in Daytona Beach.
The historic downtown and beach side business district of New Smyrna recently has been revitalized with a major community redevelopment program. High quality health care is provided by dedicated physicians on staff at Bert Fish Medical Center. Having just completed a $26 million renovation and expansion, Bert Fish Medical Center provides a full array of health services including heart surgery, oncology, cardiac rehab, MRI, and a multitude of other inpatient and outpatient services. In the middle of a triangle composed of Daytona Beach, Orlando, and Cape Canaveral Space Coast, Massey Ranch Airpark is close enough to commute but far enough to escape.
